RETURNING TO THE SOURCE IN STYLE
The Bhagavad Gita Verses 27 & 28 makes it very clear what should be attempted
at the point of death.
"Shutting out all external sense objects, keeping the eyes and vision
concentrated between the two eyebrows, suspending the inward and outward
breaths within the nostrils, and thus controlling the mind, senses and
intelligence, the aspirant aiming at liberation becomes free . One who is
in this state contemplating Brahman, is certainly liberated, or in the next
life will be reborn into a better spiritual environment".
For those who have not reached Self Realisation in this life , this is the
best opportunity, as at the point of death, total Unconditional Surrender
is relatively easy, as there is nothing now left to hang onto, which
normally makes Self Surrender only partial.
